About us

How good spreads

What if your favorite snack could fuel something bigger?

We all have the capacity to be vessels for good. Too often, we believe we’re too small or not enough to make a difference. Good Spread exists to challenge that illusion. Impact isn’t about ego or influence, it’s about daily decisions to let goodness move through you, one act at a time. From the way you show up in your community to the late night snack with your kids, we believe everyone can help good spread.

The start of something good

Good Spread started in 2011 with a wild idea and an old Winnebago.

Our founders hit the road to raise awareness for Mana Nutrition, a nonprofit making lifesaving food for kids with severe malnutrition. Halfway through, their Winnebago literally blew up (true story). They hitchhiked home, carried by the kindness of strangers.

Out of that chaos came the idea for Good Spread: a simple, tangible way to let your taste buds do good work. Today, every jar sold supports Mana’s mission, from therapeutic food delivered globally to peanut butter supplied to food banks through our partnership with Feeding America.

Lifesaving peanut butter

Good Spread is an initiative of Mana Nutrition, a Georgia-based nonprofit that produces Ready-To-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) — a simple blend of milk, multivitamins, and peanuts. For children on the brink of death, it’s nothing short of lifesaving. Mana has produced enough RUTF to help millions of children survive and thrive.

From Savannah, with love

We are proudly based in Savannah, Georgia, the Hostess City! We draw inspiration from the city's culinary brilliance, the state’s agricultural roots, and the South’s spirit of regenerative social impact. Our peanuts are sourced from Georgia farmers, and Mana’s factories support hundreds of jobs across the state.
